Peter Emmel's Comments on the Trip
It was great fun skiing and socializing last week!
Mammoth is an immense area, but I think we covered it pretty well, and I can’t imagine better weather conditions – 5 out of 6 bluebird days!
Travel to and from was a challenge, and it’s too bad that the three prime proponents of this venue were not able to make it for personal reasons.
I’ve included them, plus Hap, in the distribution. We missed you all!
Thanks and kudos to Jim for the arrangements, and to Larry and Dave, who I heard helped in vetting and selecting the housing.
And thanks to all the chefs. We dined like kings!

Peter Emmel's Photos and Videos
Peter provided the following comments on his photos and videos:
You should be able to view and download any or all images/videos.
You should also be able to upload and add any of your own that you didn’t send me earlier.
I incorporated all that I received last week (from Jim, Joe, Rich, Sandy & PaulF). (Some of these I modified – e.g. combining some of Joe’s into panoramas – and some I skipped as redundant.)
The sequence is somewhat scrambled, since Google insists on putting them in date sequence, but some of the “processed” ones – like panoramas I created from sets of overlapping stills, and ones I received via text – have lost their original dates.
Before uploading them, I went to a lot of trouble to sort and sequence all photos by day of the week, and then add a sequence number to each filename.
So, if you download them to your own system, you can then sort them by name and they will at least be grouped by day of the week.
Each still has a caption that should appear at the bottom as you view them individually on Google Photos.
(Get into individual image mode by clicking on any image in the spread, then use the left/right arrows to scroll through the rest one by one.)
If the caption doesn’t appear, you can also see it by clicking the little white circled “i” (for “information”) in the upper RH corner of the individual photo screen.
